Welcome to Malcs School of Motoring

MALC´S School of Motoring is an independently run driving school run by myself, Malcolm Jerrom. I am a fully qualified grade 5 DSA approved driving instructor,CRB checked and a member of the Driving Instructors Association.

The DSA grade all driving instructors on a scale of 1 (very poor) to 6 (very good). I am a grade 5 instructor which means that my tuition is rated as a good overall standard by the DSA. Most instructors are a grade 4 which the DSA rate as adequate.

I am based in Mortimer and provide driving lessons in Reading, Burghfield, Earley, Tilehurst and the surrounding area.

New beginners can opt for ´pay-as-you-go´ lessons or if you´d prefer to speed things up a bit you could choose a semi-intensive course. All pre-test training includes theory and hazard perception help and advice as standard.

My services also include motorway lessons and Pass Plus for new passers and refresher training for those licence holders who´d like a bit more confidence on the road, whatever the reason. I welcome students of all ages and abilities including complete beginners and nervous pupils.

I provide one-to-one tuition and am a friendly, patient and reliable instructor with an excellent pass rate and will teach you the skills required to become a confident and competent driver.
